Good GOD this is art is amazing. I won't deny that it is LOUD but holy hell is it beautiful. It's such a perfect depiction of a child's viewpoint.
Lyrica is a woe-begotten child whose mother is an absolute deadbeat. But one day her mother wakes up a changed person! She's so affectionate, she's apologizing, she seems raring to go! But where? The Imperial Palace of course! She's gonna capture the Emperor's heart with a deal!
Her new father is only emperor for a while though, just until her new brother comes of age and becomes the true emperor. Lyrica almost immediately manages to clear up a misunderstanding between the two and prevents a contentious succession crisis and improve their family relationship! Just don't talk to me about the giraffe necked albino child. He frightens me deeply.
I LOVE how the point-of-view main character ISN'T the one who got isekai'd, I've always wanted the perspective of a side character who is having their own story!! It's genuinely such a refreshing take and I adore it!!!
