Review: Scarlett Arman possessed a body that attempted suicide, which raises questions considering that the original novel did not have a dead woman as a main character. Scarlett decides a plan to make the emperor get tired of her and dump her, which is stupid because him being tired of her is the reason he killed the original Scarlett in the novel.
But listen. I love a blonde protag with foxy red eyes. Absolute cinema.

Scarlett's plan is to act completely insane to get him to call off the engagement out of embarrassment, but he predictably does not do that, and instead her quirky swag bewitches and enraptures him. God it pisses me off so much when the names are stupid. I don't mean out FL Scarlett, that's a great name for her, I mean Charleon Kalior. And in addition to ML's dumb name, the OGFL's name is Charla. Charla and Charleon. Like??????? God whatever.
I also despise when the conveniently-not-blood-related brother is secretly harboring feelings for his sister whom he's been raised with from birth, so I'm really glad that the adorable older brother genuinely cares for his little sister in an affectionate sibling way and not a gross incest way.
